At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Flymousechiu/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.
If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!
If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome!

Adoption[edit source]
I saw your note on the AAN talkpage. While I'd probably make a terrible adopter, I can dump some random advice at you: Uncyclopedians are lazy and don't tend to look at things, so directly asking someone who looks not entirely unpleasant to adopt you would probably be your best bet. I'd suggest someone like Black flamingo11 or Oliphaunte, mostly because I think they're sexy. I mean, because their noobs tend to turn out aiight. Unless I'm mixing them up with other people. Like maybe ChiefjusticeDS, except I think he's spending the month dead or something. Sorry, I really haven't been entirely on top of things lately, but hopefully you get the idea, or something. I don't know.
At very least, if you have any questions or some such, you can feel free to ask me on my talkpage, or Tasmania on his(?) or anyone else who appears to be active, really - most people here are actually fairly nice, despite being utter weirdos.
Also, yeah, welcome. ~ 20:27, 28 February 2012
Hey[edit source]
You notice how Lyrithya didn't mention me. She doesn't think I'm that sexy. I've made a few amendments to HowTo:Delete the Recycle Bin. I am about to add it to UN:PEE as I think this is the best it has been so far, but I'd like to get another opinion. I've amended that construction template so that it's no longer a true construction template, but instead part of the joke. You had it placed similarly to this before, and I lolled at it then. I'll also add it back to the recent HowTos. Welcome to the neighbourhood. Hope you enjoy your time here. Grab me if there are any questions. Pup 01:23 02 Mar '12
Ola[edit source]
Just had a chance to look over your articles. I like what I've seen so far, very simple, but your knowledge with programming compensated so far. I especially liked A Cat on a Laptop, but it could use a little more work before it becomes worthy of VFH. I'd suggest putting them onto Pee Review, although I've noticed Pup stole one from you and put it up, or something. Dunno if you put any of the others up yet and someone reviewed them or whatnot, haven't been over there for a while. Anyways, I like how you've started, keep up the good work! Feel free to ask any questions, I'm typically on here once a day or so. Tchao! --Sir Oliphaunte (განხილვა) 21:47, March 10, 2012 (UTC)
- actually, it's already been reviewed: see Uncyclopedia:Pee Review/A Cat on a Laptop. I don't see anyway in significant that i can improve the article, so can you help me to point out a few?
And by the way, the popup image thing is stolen from Visual Puns- As yes, not a very good review in my opinion. I'd suggest putting it back up on pee review and let someone more experienced review it. I can't really think of any way to improve the article; I mean, I know there is some way, but it's not coming to me. The article feels a little clunky, that's one issue, but that's kind of hard to resolve since there isn't much material you can put into the article. Get another review that is more in-depth hopefully and if that one doesn't help, I'll try and give you some more concrete help. --Sir Oliphaunte (განხილვა) 21:03, March 11, 2012 (UTC)
How to delete the recycle bin[edit source]
Aren't you gonna finish it? I think you've got a great start there, you just need to finish it before it gets autohuffed by the guys that monitor the articles with the construction tags on them. Either that or have somebody pee review it. -- This has been an automated message by Cute Zekrom (talk) 20:42, March 20, 2012 (UTC)
- eh... actually that is "supposed" to be the end of the joke. one had just cleared his C:\ and now the author didn't instruct what to do next. it's actually PuppyOnTheRadio's idea, not mine.
- The article hasn't got a real construction tag on it. It's a fake. Nominally Humane! 12:31 22 Mar
