Welcome![edit source]
Hello, Fishonfire, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there... no, a little more to your left... yeah. Anyway, here are a few good links for nooblets:
If you read anything at all, make it the above two links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help with something, try these:
- About Uncyclopedia and The five pliers of Uncyclopedia
- Everything you ever wanted to know, but were afraid to ask
- Help Pages - if you need help with a specific issue
I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button () above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.
If you need help, ask me on my talk page, or ask at the Dump. Again, welcome! 11:35, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
Vanity Edits[edit source]
As you will notice here, the first time this article was deleted, Hinoa4 noted, "This article is in violation of our vanity policies. You will be banned if this is recreated." Yet less than a day later, you recreated it.
Normally, I'd respond kindly to a nicely worded email requesting unblockage. However, your only other 3 edits are either bizarre, or in support of an article that was complete crap, and was deleted via the VFD process with only you voting for it. Had I some evidence of your ability to make meaningful contributions to this site, I'd unblock you.
While I understand your irritation at being banned, we are not interested in libel/slanderous/vanity pages. When your ban runs out, feel free to start and edit articles which are not of those types. 00:15, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
Point well taken. I apparently don't know how to read logs. I just banned by default everyone who had edited the article - possibly no way for you to realize that it had been already been deleted once. Thanks for being so pleasant about it all. Welcome back. 14:13, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
