Sorry...

I have a lot of reading to do before I know what is and is not acceptable to do on this site. I now know not to delete anything before archiving it (thanks, Puppy on the Radio! (Is there a way I can tag you or something so you'll know that I've mentioned you in a post/comment?)). I'm a quick learner, however, so hopefully it won't be too long until I'm no longer such a noob. I will also make sure to ask around so as not to commit any serious blunders and get killed off before I've really had a chance to become part of this community.

No probs. As for making sure I notice the message, most regulars keep a watch on pages that they have edited in the past. (See the Special:Watchlist at the top of the page.) If you really need to get their attention quickly you can drop a note on their talk page, like I did here, as it gives you that lovely orange banner thingy. And welcome, again! Actually, I was trying to post that pic on my main page, like you have yours. (Your pic is gorgeous, btw! Purple is my favorite color.) If you could help me with that, it would be much appreciated.

Did Puppy on the Radio get banned, or...?

Just wondering, because when I look at my talk page, it says "73% complete" or some such, and when I went to his(?) page, it seems that they think he's a sock puppet (I know what that means, I looked it up. Yay me!) Just curious about what his/her status is.

Nah - I'm still here. I had been banned a little earlier for sockpuppetry, so I just changed my userpage as a bit of an inside joke for people that were around at the time. And my signature has a tendency to change whenever I get bored. This signature is actually my name as displayed on my twitter account. I'll probably change it again within the next week or two. Can noobs edit articles?

I got a notification for an article I'm following that was recently edited, and the edits (while accurate to the television show the article is about),in my view do not reflect the standards of this site. (I would link the article, but I don't know how to do links yet. It's the one about NCIS,, and the edits are in the sections about Kate Todd and Ari Haswari.) One other thing. Can you keep your sig close to the rest of your message, instead of adding an extra line of space?? Yes, that would be the one. I was thinking of changing it back to the way it was originally (reverting, it's called?) I suppose I can just c&p from the notification I got. Also, now that I have your attention, how can I change the "talk" link after my name to something cool like your "orate"? User:EJ_Barrett/sig. Go to 'edit' and you will see the code. Replace 'talk' with what ever you want there instead. Regards the article, you can make a copy to your own pages and work on it there. Then once it is finished you can ask the rest of the community to vote on your article replacing the one already there.
