Best Image

  1. Staple Lady - Lyrithya [5pts] The most convincing photo manipulation out of all the entries, funny concept.
  2. Poorly funded military - Magic man [4pts] Some bits of the image don't quite blend in with other bits, but other than that it is fairly funny and creative.
  3. Ascending And Descending Lego - PuppyOnTheRadio [3pts] This image should be looped, but other than that it is very creative.
  4. Black Nixon - Lollipop [2pts] This image is terribly executed. The blackface is blotchy and extends into and above Nixon's hair.
  5. Vote Nessman - Modusoperandi [1pt] This image actually looks like what it says it is. Also, I guess that referencing the show WKRP in Cincinnati counts as being creative.
  1. Seductive usage of a staple gun - Lyrithya [5 pts] By far the most well-executed image in the contest. And it turns me on.
  2. How to build a lego rectangle - PuppyOnTheRadio [4 pts] At first glance it looks very encyclopedic, then suddenly you realize PotR has fucked your mind. Well done.
  3. Poorly funded military - Magic Man [3 pts] I lol'd. It shows signs of being chopped (I can tell by the pixels) but definitely a good concept.
  4. Card stacking - Shabidoo [2 pts] A decent image. Not the most well-executed (perspective on the cards is pretty wonky and the cards themselves are blurry while the rest of the image is sharp), but doesn't look like crap and has a punny idea behind it.

Best Redone Image

  1. File:Last supper2.png -Although Jesus should be holding a $50
  2. File:Ackbar-tarp.jpg - Puns are the lowest form of humour, but nobody complains about Uncyc being too highbrow. 
  3. File:Mohammed with sausages.jpg  and File:TheCoCreatorVanishes.jpg. Preferred the original in the first case - along with the drama that went along with it - and don't really see the second as being a huge improvement on the original either. 
  1. Lyrithya. While I liked the original Last Supper pic, and still hope to see it kept and not replaced, the sweep of the image is greatly improved.
  2. Tie, MeepStarLives' co-creator, which is an improvement because it tells the important story in a vertical way with two new characters added; and Modus' Ackbar, which is funnier than the original (although that big face pic should be kept as well).
4. Last but least, Socky's Mohammed with sausages pic is very good by itself, and is a nice addition to the site's muslim collection. Yet why he would try to outdo his masterpiece, Mohammed licking sausage, is beyond my comprehension (except either trying to replace the original is a joke in itself, or Socky is crazy, my now long-held belief). The original is a classic, is a feature, and gives the muslim ladies in our audience something to dream about.
