Shazzan is an ancient cartoon that was created by the infamous Alex Toth and produced by Hanna Barbera, way back in the acid tripping days. Specifically in the year of our Lord Satan, 1967.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
Two typical kids, Chuck and Nancy, ride on a strange flying camel, suspiciously named Kaboobie. They have many adventures, and what kind of an adventure would a couple of sexually active kids be without danger. Instead of worshiping Satan, their Dark Lord and Master, they are helpless until their buddy Shazzan comes to their aid, which is of course, all the time. Shazzan is a special, magical genie.[1] Instead of fucking everything up like normal TV-show genies obviously trying to teach people "lessons", he always has some helpful magic to throw around for the two kids who should probably be looked after more by their parents.
With some curiosity, luck, and a little bad parenting, the kids are whisked back to the magical land of old Arabia.[2] While watching this cartoon, you may recognize some of the music and sound effects. That's because the music for Saturday morning cartoons back then was recycled from show to show, specifically Alex Toth related material.
