For those of you who have lost your sense of taste due to the evilness of this spice, the so-called experts at Wikipedia have an article about Capsaicin.

Capsaicin is a component of peppers. In its purest form, it is one of the spiciest substances on Earth. DO NOT INGEST. Trust me, I've tried it.

Capsaicin is an incredibly spicy substance. That is why it should not be consumed unless you're pulling an April Fools joke. It is potentially fatal. Wouldn't that be fun? Dying from over-spiciness...

Drugs[edit | edit source]

Capsaicin may be used as a drug. Although, you probably won't like it when you get high, so I wouldn't reccommend it. How about you snort some crack instead?

Etmology[edit | edit source]

The word comes from the Icelandic word, "pipar". Peppers are a substance they have to grow there or else they will freeze to death. Pipar means, "I'm ON FIRE!!!!!" when translated...
