This is an essay. It is not an ignorable policy on Uncyclopedia, so you should ignore it even more and disregard the mad ramblings of its writer. Or you could submit it as an Uncycloversity assignment in lieu of doing any actual work. |
In this year of the overuse of Artificial intelligence, with the rise of chatbots like ChatGPT and Gemini, it has become harder and harder to figure out what has been generated by AI, and what has not. In the last couple of years—it has felt as if the usage of AI has been growing and growing, not in a sudden spark, but as a slow movement as more and more people use the technology. This isn't about articles anymore—this is about Humanity's sake.
And this is how to stop it.
Guidelines[edit | edit source]
- Does the article overuse the em dash? (That's this thing: —)[1]. If so, there's a high chance that it was written by AI.
- Counterargument: The person you're talking to overuses em dashes too, so don't use this as flat-out evidence.
- Does the article have a lack of swearing? If so, and if the other points are true, it might be written by AI.
- Counterargument: Of course, not all articles rely on swearing. In fact, it's actual a rule in Uncyclopedia:How To Be Funny And Not Just Stupid that you can't swear that much. But a total lack of swearing is very suspicious.
- Is it over-supportive of the topic? (e.g. Does it talk too much about the subject?) If so, it may've been written by AI.
- Counterargument: This rule should be taken with a grain of salt, although, it can be really useful if combined with the other guidelines.
- Was the creator TropicalPanther? If so, it may've been written by AI.
- Counterargument: This only works sometimes, although there have been many examples.
So what is the future of AI?[edit | edit source]
The future of artificial intelligence will not feel like a sudden revolution, but a slow fading of boundaries. It will slip quietly into the systems we rely on, until we can't remember what life looked like without it. We'll tell ourselves we’re still in control, even as we adapt to the logic of the machines we built. AI won't destroy humanity in a burst of chaos-it will reshape it in subtle ways, one convenience at a time. And now we're here. Stuck.
That last paragraph was written by AI.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- ↑ Although if you try putting it into the Ctrl+F search bar, it will count hyphens, en dashs, and em dashs, so don't just use CTRL+F to figure it out.
