this one got me chuckling many times. every time i thought a sentence faltered, the next sentence redeemed it by building on it. I have rarely been more excited to read the body of an article after having read only the intro, and i am pleased to award you a perfect score for this section.
firstly, i enjoyed the one-liner repetition in the header of the examples section, but i'm not sure if i'm in the majority. ask around to see what people think if you have some sort of perfection OCD, otherwise i declare it to be OK. as for the rest of the section, it was again awesome. i really have trouble faulting any of it, as almost all of it was great. to nitpick, i would say the line about watching the special olympics wasn't too great, and to try another example there.
okay, this section again had comedic gold throughout, but there were a lot more issues i had. it's good to reference previous parts of the article, but it's best done in passing. for example, i like the pipetting of zima, but then you use the microliter term again right after; i'd rather you have said 'extremely often'. and you beat the word 'zima' into the ground, try using 'alcohol' or 'sauce', or somesuch.
you again tickle my funny bone, mister hyperbole. the only qualm i have about thi section is that it seems a tad short; try to throw in some more sentences. |

| Prose and formatting: | 7 | the formatting was ok; i'd get rid of that table of contents, as the long section titles make it pretty gross-looking. your two images are really large, which is ok, but i think you should move one to the left side for symmetry's sake, and also add one more. but more on that in two seconds... |
| Images: | 7 | one, two... okay, your images are great, and the captions are also great. but the length of the article to me calls for one more image. another pic in a similar vein with a similar caption as the other two would be fine. |
| Miscellaneous: | 5 | i have not averaged the other scores for your miscellaneous category, becasue i felt the need to bring your score down. the reason for this is that the article seems unfinished. i think adding some content to the last section, and then having a wrap-up section, would greatly improve the article. |
| Final Score: | 38.4 | this article is awesome, and is a lock for my 'favorites' section (once i get around to making it). however, i think that this feel much more like a 'Why?' than a mainspace article. when you move from userspace, i say move it to Why?:Cell biologists are cooler than molecular biologists. you should also add to the ending to make it wrap up a bit nicer. other than that, great article, i look forward to nomming it for feature once it's ready! |
