UnBooks:Jimbo's Love Life: The Story of Wikipe-tan[edit source]
A big mug o' reviewin' strength tea? Why, that must mean this article is being reviewed by: UU - natter (While you're welcome to review it as well, you might like to consider helping someone else instead). (Also, if the review hasn't been finished within 24 hours of this tag appearing, feel free to remove it or clout UU athwart the ear'ole). |
This one's sat here a while. I'll take a look. --Sir Under User (Hi, How Are You?) VFH KUN 18:01, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Humour: | 7 | This one's a difficult one to rate, because it's not laugh-out-loud funny, but it is a good read, and still amusing. It is quite sweet, as Kip notes on the talk page. Also, as a non-Wikipedian, I'm not au fait with the original stuff on Jimbo's talk page. That said, I enjoyed it, so a 7 it is. |
Concept: | 7 | Again, a toughie, this time because I don't know how original the concept is based on the talk page comments. Still, as an UnBook, it's quite a good idea, so a 7 again then. |
Prose and formatting: | 8 | No problems here, nicely written. |
Images: | 5 | Well, there's only one. It is relevant, and a decent image, but an article of this length needs probably a couple more. |
Miscellaneous: | 6.8 | Averaged according to ancient charter. |
Final Score: | 33.8 | Yeah, it's a good read. It's sweet, you're right that adding more detail to the sex scene would ruin it. One thing though: it does feel like it ends a bit abruptly - the last line doesn't really feel like a last line to me. Possibly a line about how he knows this will be forever or something? |

Further comments:
I dunno, I normally put some extra comments here, but I'm a bit stuck, to be honest. What you've got here is a nice article - it's well written, amusing, and should be right at home here as an UnBook. I do recommend more images though. Possibly a book cover of some sort, maybe in classic Mills & Boon romance style? If you ask, I may try to create one for you, although you may want to ask RadicalX for a better job!
I'm not sure how helpful a review this is. If you wanted more, let me know and I'll try and furnish you with further feedback. Or possibly ask Kip for his thoughts, as he obviously knows more about it than me.
Anyway, this is only my opinion, others are available, and good luck! --Sir Under User (Hi, How Are You?) VFH KUN 18:30, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
