Ok, This is the first article i've really tried at. it's 'about' my home town so i need other people to see it and see if it's funny as some 'jokes' may be at risk of being in-jokes although i tried to avoid this. be honest! oh and could someone please put a wikipedia template on it aswell, i'm such a noob and couldn't figure it out, thanks. i may not be around for a few hours as i probably should sleep but if you review it i'll get back to you whenever i'm awake next. thanks again.

Humour:	6	There's some good moments in there and not everything is an obvious Thurso-related in-joke (even better - almost no Uncyclopedia in-jokes, although watch out for the FSM bit). Don't be afraid of using a little more absurdity: despite having been no further north than Keith, I'm well aware that things get pretty strange up there... Incidentally, I quite liked the Rangers-gay thing. Anything to abuse blue-noses.
Concept:	6	You stuck with something you know at the core of it, which helps. It does tend to digress into subsections which can turn into lists if you're not careful. You do give some good comparisons which, as noted above, stop it turning into an in-joke fest. Encourage some fellow Thursoles (or whatever you call yourselves) to have a go.
Prose and formatting:	7	Pretty well structured and there's a nice, logical flow. Don't forget the <ref> and </ref> to capture your footnotes (with <references/> at the bottom for the cute auto-formatting thing). Obviously, watch the grammar-and-spelling-and-puncutation, as mind out for context errors (has Skinandis really got a voting mechanism installed, or did you mean "pole"?).
Images:	7	I'm guessing you don't PotatoChop much, so taking the ordinary photos and adding bizarre captions works nicely. There's a well-selected few on there, although it wouldn't hurt to add a few more for the completely-out-of-context thing (i.e. a picture of The Village People as an example of clientele of Top-Joes, perhaps some Eton schoolboys to illustrate the neds and so on).
Miscellaneous:	5	Your piece is a little isolated (much like the subject of the article). Try some cross-references to/from related pieces (Inverness, Scotland and Caithness) and get on with whoring yourself out. You could become an expert in everything to do with...well, Thurso.
Final Score:	31	Not bad atall, especially for a first go. I think it (and you) have got potential. But what do I know? I write about Status Quo after all.
