I wrote this elsewhere, read it, thought it belonged here, and so brought it over, edited it slightly to give it more of an encyclopaedic feel, and stuck a few images on. Pup 07:02 30 Jul '11

| Humour: | 8 | First of all, there’s some pretty funny stuff here. There are one or two things you could improve on, but I had a big, stupid grin on my face throughout the whole article. Let’s break it up section by section:
The first section is pretty good, though not exceedingly funny. Like the other sections, it’s a little short, so maybe, you could include why all of the other days of the week aren’t as good as Friday, instead of just talking about Saturday. I don’t know, just a suggestion. The second section is very good, especially the “Thank Bhudda it’s Friday” part, which actually made me laugh. I don’t think you really need to change anything, unless you want to make it a little bit longer, but it’s up to you. The third section is also very good. Your argument actually makes sense, which makes the article very funny. You just might want to make this section longer, that is all. I love, love, love the Conclusion, which is by far the best part of the article. I laughed at that last sentence. A great way to end everything. |
| Concept: | 9 | It’s a great concept because (a) No one would ever think of trying to deeply understand the phrase and (b) Your final idea of what the phrase means actually makes sense, even though it’s obviously not correct. I love it. |
| Prose and formatting: | 6 | As I said before, the article is, well, too short. You’re probably going to have to expand on some the sections, because right now, the article is sort of a stub. Also, there’s no opening. You just jump into defining the phrase. You might want to give a short history of the phrase in the beginning or something. Other than that, one or two typos but nothing major. |
| Images: | 7 | The images are good, but the captions aren’t really very funny. You might want to change them, but it doesn’t really matter. |
| Miscellaneous: | 7.5 | Used the pee template to average your score. |
| Final Score: | 37.5 | Overall, a very funny article with an amazing idea behind it. All it needs is a bit more content and I think it will be able to reach Quasi-Featured status, at least. I know I’d vote for it. If you have any questions, just leave a message on my talk page. Again, great job! |
