Digital rights management[edit source]
I've had a lot of fun looking up the DRM bashing that goes on online. Hopefully, you had fun reading this. Lord Scofield Stark 13:15, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
Humour: | 6.7 | Pleasant. A nice account of the DMCA war. Being a pirate myself, I loved the article. But since this is supposed to be a critical review, I'll pretend to be barely impressed, in sync with the Humour score.
To begin with, it's a narration of events that is presented in an amusing manner. It started off brilliantly - the opening paragraph was great. It sort of lostSteam after that and became informative. I'm not complaining the absence of cats and ninjas and chuck-nuns, but seriously though, it could have been a tad funnier. You're thinking, Yeah, they all say that, how many of them can actually make them funnier? I'll concede, I can't. IFYMB! can though. However, I do have a suggestion or two. Primarily poking-fun suggestions.

Concept: | 7.5 | Not too shabby. This was like a scribe's account of a battle I witnessed. Funny enough though. I'd still maintain that it's an account. A funny retelling, rather than a humorous article. You've gotten incredibly close to the truth. However, the idea of production houses celebrating the success of piracy compensates for that a bit. |
Prose and formatting: | 9 | Good enough. No severe complaint; it's grammar compliant. The one little problem is too much "quoting" all over the "article," you know what I mean? And, there is a formatting inconsistency in the titles. Digital rights management, Obstinance and Paranoia, DRM-free software, and further challenges to the Master-Plan. Geddit? I normally fix these during the review but I'm not quite in the mood today. |
Images: | 6 | Bleh. The Sales Report was funny. Rest were okay.
Suggestions:

Miscellaneous: | 7.2 | Decent article. Could be funnier though. |
Final Score: | 36.4 | Fun to read from the standpoint of any person who witnessed all that. It really is a nice account - I'll even show this to anyone who asks me what happened in that online outrage. For an Uncyclopedia article, however, it lacks humour. |
