A rule of thumb: If you liked Blazing Saddles, then you should not be offended by this.

As the author, I hope people are offended by this. Basically, the article consists of an extreme exaggeration of those aspects of the original movie that I found offensive. If people aren't offended by it, then it was a waste of my time.

Having said that, I think the unsigned comment has a point. Like Blazing Saddles, this article uses racist terms and concepts to make a comment on racism, rather than a comment on race, if you follow me. And like Blazing Saddles, I hope it has enough humour in it to leaven the sourness (although obviously Blazing Saddles is funnier). --Cap'n Sir Ben GUN WotM VFH VFP 04:14, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
