The girl's parents have been criticized for taking her to the range, and for filming the incident vertically.

It's part of any nine-year-old's dream vacation: a drive with the family, a burger, and a quick class on how to use an automatic weapon which fires 1,700 rounds per minute.

But for one young New Jersey girl, it all ended in a shock accident.

The girl, despite having the powerful, muscular arms one associates with 4th graders, was not able to control the gun when it recoiled, and accidentally shot her instructor dead.

The family - on vacation in Arizona - even filmed the incident, presumably with the intention of making a souvenir, when in the end it served more as an alibi. Experts say that the girl's pink shorts are thought to be the smallest ever worn by a uzi-wielding killer.

The local sheriff told UnNews, "These things hardly ever happen. It's sad that this guy lost his life and this little girl will probably be mentally scarred for the rest of hers, but it's a small price to pay.

"You have to remember this is just, like, one second, and we get to bear arms all the time. These things balance each other out."
