Many sites used this stock image from Reuters, which didn't show so much as a collar bone.

News sources around the world have unanimously taken the decision to crop below the neck all photos of Angelina Jolie used in articles related to her mastectomy.

Gone but not forgotten: We at UnNews have decided to salute Ms Jolie's former charms, and demand they be given their own spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Preferably with their own special imprint in the cement.

A media insider told us, "It was obviously a very harrowing time in her life, and a brave decision to go public with it. We didn't want to trivialize it by showing an old picture of her massive baps."

However, while breast cancer support groups welcomed the idea, some men openly criticized it, using anonymous names on internet message boards.

One, who called himself TittyMan69, wrote, "I'm sorry, but I think the press has completely lost sight of what is 'public interest' here. When a woman has any kind of boob operation - what is the first question that goes through your head? It's 'what are her tits like now?' I want before and after pictures. Are they bigger or smaller? Are they good implants or nasty fake ones? What way are her nipples pointing? I demand to know!"

Meanwhile, Jolie's husband Brad Pitt has also been criticized after being photographed at a recent LA Lakers game, openly ogling the untouched, surprisingly pert breasts of his former squeeze, Jennifer Aniston.

Only time will tell if the combination of natural C-cups, an absence of adopted rugrats and the prospect of a Friends reunion show will tempt Pitt back into the arms of Aniston, but one thing's for sure: Jolie is not a woman to mess with, whatever state her boobs are in.
