UnNews:Amy Winehouse statue has drug problem
Tuesday, September 16, 2014
The statue of Amy Winehouse, unveiled in London on Sunday, has already developed a drug problem, according to reports.
The statue had been a pilgrim site for fans of the late singer, who gathered there to say "she died too young", "she was a special soul" and "this one's for you, Amy!" before taking a swig of tequila.
This behaviour soon escalated to drug-play, with late night revellers smearing traces of cocaine under the statue's nose. Police believe that in the early hours of this morning the statue began to be injected with heroin, and photos have emerged of it with a crack pipe in its mouth.
Drug expert Joanna Corey explained, "What started as a bit of attention-seeking fun has ended in a serious drug habit. Little by little, the statue has become hooked on the stuff, and can't function without it."
Local residents sounded the alarm today when the statue failed to show up for a photoshoot, and sources have suggested it has been spotted with Blake Fielder-Civil.
