Template talk:Legal Disclaimer
@DaniPine3: Hey man, thanks for the new additions, it turns out we got into an edit conflict (lol), anyway, I have to attend a meeting now, so would you be able to incorporate the disclaimer below into the template?

Done, I think...[edit source]
@DaniPine3: @Alula: @MrX: What do y'all think of this? WPBS (talk) 23:07, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Wikipedia Be Sucking: perhaps a bit too lengthy for a template. I get that it being lengthy is the joke, but perhaps making it too lengthy will make it stand out too much for what's essentially something complementary. That said, it's not a bad idea. Perhaps you could make it shorter for a template, or make it even lengthier and add more humor to it to make an article out of it (although Uncyclopedia:General disclaimer already exists) DaniPine3 (talk) 23:24, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- @DaniPine3: oh no, it’s not a joke lol, it’s supposed to be a serious legal disclaimer that’s supposed to cover our asses lol. The reason it’s so long and repetitive is to make sure there isn’t any gray area that could screw uncyclopedia over. To clarify this is really meant to be put on articles that seem fairly risky or violent in nature, where some idiot might do whats on it, like some weird how to, its obvious uncyclopedia is satire, but some people are fucking stupid, idk if you're old enough to remember the 4chan waterproof iphone update thing, or the charging a phone by microwaving it, but those are good examples of this WPBS (talk) 01:17, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
Buttons[edit source]
@DaniPine3: so I got the bottom button, but I still can't figure how to do the top one WPBS (talk) 14:08, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Wikipedia Be Sucking: I'm realizing that perhaps making this a template will be harder than it looks like because for the goto template to work properly the whole article must be contained within it. Such is the reason the thing in the trip article is not an actual template of its own, but something I directly addded to the source code of the article. So maybe you'll have to try a different way to implement this. DaniPine3 (talk) 14:17, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- @DaniPine3: yeah thats what I was thinking as well, and I'll just have a page explaining how to use this see the wikitext within: https://en.uncyclopedia.co/wiki/User:Wikipedia_Be_Sucking/sandbox , however, I still can't figure out how to make the goddamn button workWPBS (talk) 21:52, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Wikipedia Be Sucking: what do you mean with buttons, exactly? you mean the yellow frames both at the top and at the bottom of the disclaimer? DaniPine3 (talk) 21:54, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
- @DaniPine3: I want the link thing that says "I confirm and agree that I have read the disclaimer above and would like to proceed to the webpage titled "Legal Disclaimer"." to be a button like the "I disagree" part below it WPBS (talk) 22:00, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Wikipedia Be Sucking: As I've mentioned before, for that thing you'd need the goto template, and for that to work you'd need the entire rest of the article to be included in the template, thus making it inaseccible for this to be a template instead of something that's written into the code of the article. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check the code in the trip or the pornography articles, and you'll see what I mean. DaniPine3 (talk) 22:08, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
