Surely Uncyclopedia, Wikipedia and related bodies can do better than this for their proposed new government? (AnonIP)

Which direction to take?[edit source]
Hey, I like this idea but it looks like it's going in two different directions, and it's partially my fault. The people editing the bottom half seem to be treating it as a Wikification of the US Constitution, whereas the people editing the top half (such as myself) are treating it more as a Constitution of Wikiland that parodies the US Constitution. IMHO these directions aren't compatible with each other, so maybe we should vote on it, or else just have two separate articles? c • > • cunwapquc? 14:56, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- I think it's fine for it to be self-contradictory. The actual parody lies more in the idea of an important legal document that "anybody can edit" than in any coordinated internal jokes, so, to some extend, the less unified the edits are, the better. --Spin 17:40, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- I think your idea would make this a better article, some user, but I think an important legal document that "anyone can edit" is a better joke. You keep editing it your way, and let others edit it their way, and we can decide down the road how to make it coherant. I think it's still trending toward being funnier right now, with every edit, even with no planning, just because of the joke about the chaos that would occur if anyone could edit an important legal document. But that's just me, I find chaotic stuff funnier than most people. :)--<<>> 18:32, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I don't have a problem with chaos and incoherence either, really... I just wanted to check and make sure I wasn't messing with someone's Grand Vision, and potentially causing some sort of nasty conflict. Let confusion reign! (Btw, B - my friends all call me "Ol' Somey.") c • > • cunwapquc? 19:06, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Scrub-a-dub-dub[edit source]
Also, could someone explain this "hot tub" thing to me? This User:86.130.233.183 fella seems kind of obsessed with them... I'm sure there's some clever inside joke involved, but it looks like a clear violation of the "not funny if you have to explain it" rule. c • > • cunwapquc? 03:45, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
