Factual contension - some scholars maintain that the assertion that vikings enjoyed "raping and pillaging" in fact stemmed from a spelling error by the fourth century roman historian, Quaverus. Instead, these scholars claim that the original texts on viking lore related the viking interest in "rapping and pillaging", suggesting that the Afro-American musical style, 'rap music', was in fact the invetion of white bearded norse men. Eurocentric in its' best. The Vikings were an inspiration to the Nazis, another bunch of German nationalists with no lives use it as an excuse to take over the world. Funny, the modern-day countries of Germany, Scandinavia and other Northern/Western Europe are being "overran" by Africans, Asians and other "Skraelings" the Vikings fought over control of Europe. If it weren't for the mighty Norse men, Europe would be Arabia and Russia would be Mongolia. We may all speak Arabic or Chinese by now, not the English language brought over to Britain by them, the Danes, Dutch and Low Germans. +
