We need kittens on the movie poster. Preferably ferocious, roaring, man-eating kittens. I'm serious. Uncyclopedia is nothing if not full of kittens. -Gubby 20:41, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Hey...[edit source]
Wasn't it Samuel L. Jackson who played Oscar Wilde (as per Uncyclopedia, Uncyclopedia 2, Worst 100 Movies of all time etc)? ~ 12:34, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
Web movie?[edit source]
Ok, will there really be a web movie of some sort? I would love to see Oscar Wilde in action! (Or is it really scrapped? Or is it just a joke?)

I have an idea! How about a REAL online movie?[edit source]
Ok, I know this is kinda double posting, but this is different then the other thing I said. Please, do not block me. I'm not trying to be annoying. If someone finds it bad, just warn me on my talk page.
I was thinking someone could really make an Uncyclopedia movie online. (If anyone does, I'de LOVE to voice Oscar Wilde, pleeeeeease!) It could be longer then three minutes, and have it's own site!
May I have opinions, please?

Sounds good, if someone's willing to coordinate it. I'd like a line in it, preferably as somebody's redshirt.Ye Olde Luke 23:53, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
The Uncyclopedia Movie[edit source]
An article I wrote which (even I think) was rather rashly put on VFH by a n00b (no offense, Ren0000). However, I would like to see it become a featured article one day. What does it need to not be just third-rate quasi-featured crap? --§ǚρωξλ£μĦΦφ≈€ƏΣßÐÆØΞΩų 05:53, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- OK, so it might have been placed on VFH a little rashly. However I don't agree with some of the comments there that this is 'unfunny' - sure it could use a little bit of work, but it isn't utter crap.
- First of all, it could do with a little bit of tweaking with regards to formatting. I've had a bit of a go at this, moving one or two of the images around so it looks a bit less congested, and just making one or two minor changes here and there. Apart from this, I love the use of references - they really help improve the genuine Wikipedia feel of the article.
- When I first saw it, I thought it had great potential, but the unfortunate thing about this sort of idea is that it relies a bit too much on inside knowledge. For example, it is funny to me or you because it references cruddy memes (I thought the Domo-Kun sueing Uncyc was a funny bit, as was the cabbage reference) which we understand. However, new users may not really get what's going on. For this reason, perhaps consider adding more 'real life' references. Think about the world of film and the public's reaction, and perhaps how the film helped 'spread the word' of Uncyc. For example, some people on the street might be quoting fake Oscar Wilde quotes, or shouting AAAAAAAAA! at each other as a result of the marketing for the film. Perhaps this would make it more obvious to n00bs that these are established Uncyc inside jokes.
- The images have great potential - I quite like the main film poster. I might have a mess around with it to see how I can make it more 'in context'... let me see what I can do.
Right, I hope this advice will go some way in helping you get the article featured at VFH. Good luck! --Hindleyite | PL | GUN | WOTM | Image Review - Use it | Converse 12:27, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- OK, I jazzed up a couple of the images for you. Hope you like them! If you don't, you can always reinsert the old ones/revert. --Hindleyite | PL | GUN | WOTM | Image Review - Use it | Converse 13:36, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, I like what you did with the teaser poster, but the main poster one is a little too small and a little blurry, so I used a bigger one in a different setting. --

- Yeah, looks even better now with the pics. The one I Potatochopped was a bit crap, just an example of what I meant, but the new one adds some class to the article. Looks even more like a Wikipedia article with the cleanup - looks like you're getting a few 'for' votes on VFH now, too. Oh, and if you haven't already voted, may I point you in the direction of HowTo: Be a Tramp and Adobe Potatochop? Cheers, and good luck again. --Hindleyite | PL | GUN | WOTM | Image Review - Use it | Converse 12:18, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Samuel L. Jackson[edit source]
Jackson has a quote where he rants and raves about not being in the movie, yet the side template of information shows him as a starring actor, playing Benson. Should one of the two be changed?Ye Olde Luke 22:04, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
