Hi ! I just finished to translate this article for the french Wiki, and it will be posted soon. I just have a small problem with this sentence : "Funny how you never see old pikey women preaching scatology at the fair - and you wouldn't want to cross their palm with silver afterwards either. You might want to cross the road though." I think there is a kind of joke with the 'cross' word, that should mean 'pay the pikey' and 'go far from her', but I'm not sure. If somebody can help !
