Talk:Manhmoud Ahmadinejad
Was it really that bad?[edit source]
My edit got deleted, was it really that unfunny? --S-Ranker 14:04, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- While no, it wasn't skull-asplodingly unfunny. I deleted it because it wasn't inkeeping with the overall feel of the article. --Sibley 14:53, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
Help me out here[edit source]
I can't decide whether to delete the entire "In Popular Culture" section, it doesn't really fit in with the whole satrical-with-only-the-occasional-bit-of-nonsense theme I've been going for.
Opinions? --Sibley 23:05, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Tone is king. If something disrupts tone, then modify or remove. One out-of-tune section can ruin the tone of a good article.--<<>> 23:15, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Can someone help me? I think Ahmadinejad looks like a douche all of the time, but I can't figure out how I can fit a series of images with captions explaining his douchebag-ish looks in with the rest of the article. He does look like a douche all of the time, right? --Sluggobeast 23:05, 19 June 2009 (EST)
Deleted[edit source]
Right I've deleted the entire "in popular culture" section. While I felt the "music" section had potential (I personally liked the idea of a song called Nuclear Winter (I Hope Israel Gets Frostbite) a lot) I just felt it didn't fit with the overall theme.
If the author/s of the section feel like they've had their heart ripped out due to this henious act I'd suggest creating another article about Ahmadinejad's musical career or whatever. It can work, just look at Jihad My Ride - Genius. --Sibley 00:42, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Ali Khamenei[edit source]
Anyone like to mention his relationship to Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei?--No2mullah 07:37, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- As long as we don't get the usual "they were gay lovers!!1" schtick. --Zarbag 15:19, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- Completely agree with Zarbag there. But I think that definitely could be included; as long as it keeps with the rest of the article and is of course humorous. --Sibley 16:31, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
From Pee Review[edit source]
A complete re-write of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. I went for a satrical-with-only-a-tiny-bit-of-nonsense style. WARNING: may contain traces of facts. But they're used within reason. --Sibley 22:34, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Humour: | 7 | Pretty funny throughout without ever being really hilarious |
Concept: | 8 | He's a very funny guy... |
Prose and formatting: | 7 | Nothing wrong here |
Images: | 10 | Excellent images, brilliant captions |
Miscellaneous: | 8 | I've got to stop taking the stairs! |
Final Score: | 40 | I struggle to see any clear ways of improving this. I've taken out the red links for you but I can't see much else to do |
