Isn't the saying Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, not Copying is the sincerest form of flattery? Rei 04:25, 4 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Don't worry about it. It is partially an inside joke. Regardless, it is funny in it's own right. Dawg.gif » Brig Sir Dawg | t | v | c » 04:36, 4 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Inside jokes are bad, mm'kay?  :) Rei 07:08, 4 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Actually Dawg, the connection between this page and the comments you made were totally subliminal. I think I got the idea after a discussion about religion. I didn't realize until after the page was done that it would be a good response to the VD comment. I had already read the comment though, so I think it did inspire the page on some unconcious level.
Bringing in inside jokes from other sites that no one will understand is frowned upon, but this joke originated in the VD.
And yeah, I guess the saying is "immitation..." rather than "copying...". Maybe its maritimer english, or more likely, maybe its just me. --Paulgb 18:07, 4 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Would anyone mind if I corrected the page title (and corresponding contents) to reflect the actual saying? Rei 19:48, 4 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Go for it. -- Sir Codeine K·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 19:49, 4 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Only if you redirect from the old name. It has links around the site. Dawg.gif » Brig Sir Dawg | t | v | c » 23:21, 4 Nov 2005 (UTC)
