I hate to even mention this, but Dragon Warrior is not the granddaddy of all RPG video games. Early mainframe computer imitations of RPGs, with Akalabeth and Rogue were both published in 1980. Nice article though. Well made.

I hate to even mention this but this is Dragon Worrier... 13:25, 8 April 2009 (UTC)Mulehunter

I used to name my characters "WEENY". --Legoman1275 22:17, 8 April 2009

Thanks to this article, I'm actually playing Dragon Warrior! Scofield 17:14, October 20, 2010 (UTC)

Sorry abt the move. Experiment gone wrong. Don't ban me, plz! Scofield 15:32, November 22, 2010 (UTC)

There was a time when Breconnary was a paradise[edit source]

Dude, just talk to one of the girls outside Tangakel Castle. She'll tell you! Why would I be making this stuff up? Scofield 12:52, October 23, 2010 (UTC)

I believe you, Scofield. I'm sure you're right about that one. But it doesn't improve the article; no one's going to laugh at that line, so all it does is slightly reduce the grins-to-words ratio, which is about the most important thing an Uncyclopedia can have going for it. So: it really does need to stay out. Or, you could work it into Dragon Worrier 2: This time, there's three of 'em! Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 17:26, October 23, 2010 (UTC)

I thought it gave a better explanation for Breconnary's economy....P.S How do I get Dragon Worrier 2 to look like ur article? Scofield 17:53, October 23, 2010 (UTC)

It's really never a good idea to give an explanation for something when the explanation isn't part of a joke.
If you want it to look similar, you should start by putting this at the top of the article:
<div style='background:black;'>
<div style='color:#C8C5C8; font-size:1.5em;'>
And this at the bottom:
</div>
</div>
Good luck! Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 18:46, October 23, 2010 (UTC)

Link to Wikipedia[edit source]

I've been trying to get a link to the Wikipedia article about Dragon Warrior, but they all make the article ugly. I knew nothing about the game when I first came across this article, and that's why I think somebody should place one. Scofield 13:41, October 24, 2010 (UTC)

There's no way that's going to look good. I'll put the link right here on the talk page. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 16:20, October 24, 2010 (UTC)
Dude, nobody usually visits the talk page. Can you direct them to it or something like that? Scofield 07:22, October 25, 2010 (UTC)
If they're like "WTF is Dragon Warrior, I really want to know," they'll probably click over to Talk. It might be possible to design a black-background Wikipedia template that looks reasonably good and stick it at the bottom, but I really don't feel the need. Audio Version[edit source]

This article would make for a good audio version, with the game's music in the background. My only concern is it may be too long. Scofield 07:22, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

It could be done. I'll think about doing it when my replacement mic and sound card come in. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 16:37, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

Japanese Version[edit source]

The Japanese Uncyclopedia does have an article about the Dragon Quest series, but I would love it if somebody put up an imitation version of this one over there. Keep in mind the Japanese system has different graphics, so one would have to change the pictures. Scofield 15:25, November 22, 2010 (UTC)

The narrator's name is BUTT[edit source]

Is his last name POOP!!!! ? --Mn-z 21:56, December 3, 2010 (UTC)

The world may never know. This is an issue that generates debate at the highest levels of academia. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 19:31, December 4, 2010 (UTC)

I named my character BUTT as a tribute to this beautiful masterpiece. And I just won the game, today! --Scofield 11:54, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
