Just so you know, I'm kind of doing a large-scale rewrite here, and I was planning on actually completely erasing a lot of the stuff you're touching up.
00:48, September 10, 2011 (UTC)- Ah, was just fixing a couple typos. Typos which made it rather obvious that said sentences weren't written by you. In the unlikely case you wanted to incorporate Osama bin Laden in this article, however, I fixed 'em for you. And I also did this. I think the edit summary speaks for itself. 01:04, 10 September 2011
- I did see that, but your edit wasn't quite right. To "give rise" to a misconception is to cause a misconception in others, i.e. "The costume design for Wagner's operas gave rise to the misconception that Vikings wore horned helmets, when in fact archaeologists have never uncovered any such helmet."
- I am aware of the conventional use of the word "misconception" and the phrase "give rise to", but in this case I was obviously referring to an ill-conceived entity exiting Fawn and being splattered across the classroom, as well as all over the internet.
- What, like a... womb newt?
- More like an anus baby, in this particular case. 15:22, 10 September 2011
