I am very interested in making an account on Uncylopedia, but for some reason, when I try to create said account, it always says, "You have not specified a valid user name".

No matter how stupid, pointless, or completely random I make the name, it is always "Invalid". This is annoying, and makes me want to kill small furry animals by the droves. 4.88.3.153 03:35, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

You're not doing it right. Click on "log in / create account", then click on the "Create an account" bit (from "Don't have a login? Create an account") when the next page loads. The username/password section on the initial "log in / create account" page is for after you've registered. Sir Modusoperandi ^Boinc! 16:59, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

I knew that genius. I am on the "create account" page, and when you put anything into the "username" text area, the little red x pops up beside it, and when you fill in everything else (that will give you the little green check) and then the captcha thing, then click on create account, the page doesn't change, and a message in red pops up and says "Please input a valid username".

Could this be a problem with JS? Could I ask that someone create an account for me?

You would need to go to Modus' user page and click the "e-mail this user" button on the left (it's in the toolbox). MrN 21:57, Nov 25
