Hi, when i try to edit articles, the edit buttons are missing ,and as a result, i cannot insert pictures the fast way. I have used Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 7 to open edit pages pages but to no avail. I do not know if this is a problem experienced by other ppl and so i am posting this article for help. First thing's first. It seems that you deleted the forum header when you created the page. This is what ensures that the page appears in the forums. It's just fortunate that I spotted this in recent changes.

I suspect that your edit button problem may be due to the fact that you are trying to edit a protected article (one which tends to get a lot of vandalism and so we restrict edits). Is there a "view source" button? Oh wait! You mean the little function things at the top of the text box! Ignore what I said about protected pages. Is the edit toolbar selected in your preferences? The page is either protected, semi-protected (meaning you can't edit it unless you've been registered for at least 4 days), or it has the __NOEDITSECTION__ tag on it somewhere. --Sir Starnestommy (Talk • Contribs • CUN) 00:22, Dec. 23, 2007
