For those who are unaware, this is a bear. It is worth noting that this is NOT the actual Cocaine Bear, because the poster is probably copyrighted and I can't afford to be sued

Plot[edit | edit source]

The film opens in the year 1985 as Timmy the Bear (played by Bruce Campbell) is on his way to a party with his friends. After a short conversation on thermodynamics, they arrive at Jake the Bear (also played by Campbell)'s house. After showing off his impressive dance moves, Timmy goes to the bathroom where he runs into his friend, Andy the Bear (who is also played by Bruce Campbell). Andy offers Timmy some cocaine, which he refuses. Andy tells Timmy that all of the cool kids are doing it, causing him to try some because he does not want to be a square. Timmy wakes up the next morning and goes to work, upon arriving at work, his boss tells him that he needs to plan Larry the Bear's retirement party. Timmy thinks this is bullshit because he is a security guard and this has nothing to do with his job, so he storms off. Timmy drives to Andy's house to get some more cocaine because he does not feel like dealing with his problems like an adult. When he arrives at Andy's house, Andy invites him in and tells him that he is out of cocaine, so he will need to get more. Timmy offers to buy him some, an offer Andy graciously accepts. Timmy drives to the shady part of town where he buys some cocaine. He stops to try some at a red light when he is confronted by a police officer. Timmy tries to hide the cocaine, but is arrested because he did a really bad job of hiding it. Timmy spends a day in jail, and is visited by his wife (Keri Russell) who tells his she is divorcing him. Timmy is sad because this means he will not be able to see his kids (Christian Convery and Brooklyn Prince) as much, but then realizes that now he does not have to see his kids, which makes him happy. Timmy gets out of jail and is fired from his job because of their zero-tolerance policy on drugs. Timmy realizes that because he does not have a job, he does not have money to buy cocaine. Timmy realizes the error of his ways and stops doing cocaine with the help of his friend Ray Liotta.
