John's Big Break[edit source]

I am going to assume you are the creator of this article, so here is a bit of advice:

  • I am glad to see you took my suggestion and cut down the list of characters. However, I'm sorry to say I have read the article over and I do not get the jokes in it, though it appears you are trying to be funny. It appears to me that the main joke here is the pun on 'brake' and 'break'; this, by itself, does not succeed, especially - I think - when you state that the film is literally about John's big brake, as you have just told the reader what the joke is. I notice also that one of your characters plays the role of 'John's dick', something else that does not constitute humour by itself and, in this case, lacks context. I suggest you either expand on what that is about or abandon it entirely.
  • The article also does not have any links in it. You are encouraged to add links to it to better incorporate it into the encyclopedia or somesuch; this is done by putting brackets around the text you would like to link - [[like this]] - which produces like this.
  • You have just now removed the {{construction}} tag, again. Please put it back unless you are really done working on the article and then only remove it when you are done. Since you now have an account, you don't have to worry about your article just disappearing; it can be moved into your userspace.
  • I cannot find anything about John's Big Break on Wikipedia and have never heard of it myself. You're allowed to write articles about subjects Wikipedia doesn't cover, but readers are less likely to find your article or to understand your jokes, and it has a higher chance of being deleted.
  • Finally, may I suggest again that you read HTBFANJS. It has a lot of good ideas in it about writing humorous articles and I've kind of run off the end here.

Good luck. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talkcontribslogs) Uncyclopedia is a community site that anyone can contribute to. Discover, share and add your knowledge! UncyclopediaUncyclopediaIllogicopediai:fr:LogimalpediePaudurapedyjaFrithchiclipeidUncapaediaAbsurdopediaScotypedia 16:51, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
