Hello, we are translating Game:Zork into Japanese Uncyclopedia now[1]. We, however, can't understand some English jokes in Zork. For example, what meanings does a choice of 6 or 9 have, in Zork Tech Support? What is "Q3BANANA"? "New York City Bus Build Absolutely Nothing Anywhere Near Anything"? We, Zork Translation Team can't interpret it yet. Please show us the meaning of this word and choice. Thanks in advance.--ChibiSauron.gif | Kasuga | Talk | 14:28, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

What you should do is replace them with jokes of your own creation. Because I'm fairly certain that those 'jokes' are actually lumps of unfunny stupidity.--L 03:44, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Yeah writing your own jokes would probably be a lot funnier than a direct translation of what I can only assume is nonsense. :) Good luck! ~ Dame Ceridwyn ~ talk DUN VoNSE arc2.0 03:51, 27 July 2007
By the way, most of the Zork tech support options are puns on the phrase "technical support" to make it mean slightly different things. 9 is in Spanish and presumably says "For Spanish, press 9". And before you ask, I have no idea what AOEU is - probably some kind of popular thing that people support. The other stuff looks like nonsense - could you link to the pages it's on so we can get some context and delete it if it is indeed nonsense? --Strange.PNG (but) Untrue  Whhhy?Whut? How? *Back from the dead* 07:58, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
A cursory googling indicates that AOEU is a Dvorak keyboard thingy. "Dvorak" is Vulcan for "nerdy". Dunno what "nerdy" is in Klingon. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 20:30, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
AEOU is "ASDF" on the Dvorak keyboard; that is, the first four keys on the home row.-Sir Ljlego, GUN VFH FIYC WotM SG WHotM PWotM AotM EGAEDM ANotM + (Talk) 21:30, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Oh man, the lacrosse team is so going to pants you after school. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 00:32, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
Good thing I wear squibs inside my wristbands. I've gotten many a fat check to prevent lawsuits after these pantsings. Yay America!-Sir Ljlego, GUN VFH FIYC WotM SG WHotM PWotM AotM EGAEDM ANotM + (Talk) 00:37, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for the advices. Because initial Japanese Uncyclopedia didn't know what we should do, we started from translating other language Uncyclopedias. Those articles fortunately gathered a lot of newcomers, and Japanese original articles are in the majority now (though 90% of those articles are trash). Already, some of Zork's branches have been rewritten by new users who doesn't know English Uncyclopedia Zork(and, perhaps, genuine Zork also). However, other branches are still translated from English articles even now by users who like English it. I'm one of them. --ChibiSauron.gif | Kasuga | Talk | 15:09, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

So how exactly does one re-translate all your base are belong to us back to Japanese? :) --BBBBBBBBB! 16:48, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
