I want to create a sports page. Do you think I should call it "UnSports" or "ESPUN?" or do you think I shouldn't do it at all? If it becomes a regular feature, I may need some help setting something up on the main UnNews page. I'll have more time to write articles now that I'm done with exames. Hmm, well the guy to ask would be Zim. --—Braydie 17:10, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
A sports news parody is a good idea, but would there be enough content to fill it? Sports stuff generally just goes in the main UnNews article space, so there's a danger people wouldn't catch on, and there isn't really that much sports-related content there anyway. But if you can find enough stuff to put in it, then it sounds like something that could really work. -- Paw print.jpg 17:17, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
Well I'd be writing the articles. Crazyswordsman...With SAVINGS!!!! (T/C) 17:56, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

I like the idea. We'd need some energetic announcers. --Weatherman1126 20:55, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
I suggest writing some sports stories as regular UnNews first, and if you're indeed capable of creating a sufficent amount of them (with others joining in hopefully), then a separate page could be made. --Composure1 21:06, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
Thing is, most newspapers have a separate sports section. Crazyswordsman...With SAVINGS!!!! (T/C) 21:10, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, they have separate sections for everything, not just sports (e.g. weather, local news, editorials etc.). But we just lump everything into one page because I don't think there is sufficent articles for any given section to warrant separate pages. I am not saying there shouldn't be - I am just saying that we should create the articles first, and see if the amount of them warrants a separate page. We have precedent for this; for instance, before April stories were listed on a weekly basis, not a daily basis. But with the increased amount of new articles, Olipro set things up so they are divided by day. If people start making Sports related articles, and there is a lot of them, I would be totally for making a separate page. --Composure1 21:15, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
I always have to feel secure, so I ask if it's okay to write funny, sports related stuff anyway. Crazyswordsman...With SAVINGS!!!! (T/C) 22:08, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
Of Course it is--The Right Honourable Maj Sir Elvis UmP KUN FIC MDA VFH Bur. CM and bars UGM F@H (Petition) 09:35, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
How about ESPUD? --Uncyclon - Do we still link to BENSON? 22:39, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Another option

Would anyone prefer the name "UnSporting News" to those listed arleady?--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 13:24, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

It looks like it's gonna be UnSports.

I will be covering the bowl game tonight and the Philly/Dallas game tomorrow. If something happens during those games that is easy to make fun of, I will write a column tomorrow. It's Bowl Season, so expect a lot of college football parodies to kick it off. Crazyswordsman...With SAVINGS!!!! (T/C) 23:22, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

I'm with Composure1 on this topic. Are there enough articles to start putting them into specific news columns, rather than just the general front page? But we have seen an increase in articles as well as new content like UnToons...could be a matter of trying it out...--HPSig.PNGHP talk KUN.png Icons-flag-pi.PNG 08:01, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
