Thanks to everyone who participated in Phase I of my auditions and Name-that-Band contest. But now it's time to move on to the next phase, choosing the band members.

Here's how it's going to work. Every user that signed up for the auditions is to write a short "résumé", if you will; no more than fifty words, detailing your skills, influences, musical history, and basically why I should pick you over all these other posers talented musicians. I'm not looking at grammar or eloquence, just who can rock that shit the hardest. You can post the paragraph right here on this forum, or on my talk page. I will only consider users who signed up for the auditions in Phase I.

You have until July 5th to post your résumés. At that time, I will decide on my guitarists, bassist, drummer, keyboard/pianist, and anyone else who might contribute to this project with their set of...talents. I will announce my decision here on the 6th.

I play keyboards, classic piano, viola, violin, and drum set. In classical piano and keyboards, I am very good, viola I am good, and violin and drum set I can get by well. I have written a double disc rock opera called "Space Opera."

Sliferjam

I am good with drums, better with a electronic synthesizer, pretty good with a electronic keyboard, and great with coming up with music and lyrics to go with anything. I listen to all music, so I have a good idea for what any band could be, and should be. If you don't want me for a band member, how about manager or co-manager? Creative consultant? Mascot? I can make costumes! I have a sewing machine! And can use it! Or I can sing. Whatever.

High Gen. Grue

I play the guitar, as a beginner. I play the synthesiser very well. I also play the machine gun, although everyone dies when I play it. I listen to all sorts of music. And if I can't be a singer, i'll be your driver. I have this REALLY SWEET Military APc, with machine guns. Everyone loves the machine guns. THEY LITTERALY DROP DEAD! --Lt. High Gen. Hrodulf

I've been playing piano since highschool, my favorite music is classic ragtime and the well tempered clavier. I can sightread on piano reasonably well and can play a few chords on guitar. I've also written a few songs. --Hrodulf 23:55, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

I recorded a 13 minute medly tonight, but unfortunately I can't upload it because it's too big. Sorry, I've been away in Virginia! I can compose music pretty well in my head, am a pretty good vocalist, can (probably, not sure yet) get up a fully-working orchestra (or at least samples :)), am a very fashionable hair stylist, and am a Priest of the Most Holy Flying Spaghetti Monster.
