To get images with captions, the format is as follows:

[[File:[insert file name and format here]|thumb|[put either 'left' or 'right' here depending on where you want it on the page]|[file size here; a number followed by 'px'; i.e. 300px]|[insert caption text]]]

So if you wanted to use this image with a caption reading "Trees!" you might format it as the following:

[[File:Rainforest.jpg|thumb|left|300px|Trees!]]

Which would produce the following result:

Trees!
