Vaseline[edit source]
This article seems to be mostly copy-pasted from another source with some inaneness added. I think this is a worthy topic that should be re-written, not deleted. --Onion 02:34, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
Mostly? i think more like 3 lines. i did write it with the page for petroleum jelly open to get some background infomation that i didnt know, but it is in no way mostly copy and pasted.--Sir Silent Penguin "your site makes no sence" The illusion is complete 09:42, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
Gay joke article?[edit source]
Esteemed sir, you queried "Can't anyone make a decent gay joke article?" on the VFD page. I'm curious about your opinion on Wandering faggot-bird. In my opinion it's definitely minor-league...but is it even minor-league funny? Respectfully, ----OEJ 00:08, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback. Probably the most effective way to end the article would be to make the self-satire more obvious -- the obviously fake "gay voice" takes over and implodes in self-mockery. Clearly going an opposite direction -- giving a nod to actual gay issues -- doesn't work. Either way, though, it remains a slight article, a quick-read-and-chuckle rather than OMG this is funny! class.----OEJ 15:03, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
