Welcome, Foolish Mortal. We Now Own Your Soul.
[edit source]

Just kidding. But seriously, welcome to Uncyclopedia. I hope you like the place and decide to stay, and if not, then the staircase is over there (elevator's broken). Now enough about that and let's get started by showing a few helpful links to help puny mortals like you.

  • Beginner's Guide-This teaches you how to follow the Ways of the Uncyclopedian.
  • Our Vanity Policies-Why we don't give a shit about your pathetic friends, your worthless family, or how bad your school sucks. (seriously, we don't)
  • How to Be Funny and Not Just Stupid-Helps you know what to write and what not to write. Read it. Memorize it. Marry it if you have to. In doing so, you have less chances of your article being destroyed because of plain stupidity.

If you want to be successful in Uncyclopedia, reading the above will help (seriously, it will). If you want to learn more, then these things will give you answers you seek:

And one important rule to follow at all times: DON'T BE A DICK. (or you'll suffer a punishment that will last for 333 years)

If you have any questions, go to my talk page, the Village Dump, or an administrator and your question will be answered. Additionally, the Adopt a Noob Program will bring experienced editors straight to you (unless they get lost. Remeber to sign your post with four tildes or use the sign button (Button sig.png) in the edit box if you, like me, don't want to waste your time typing.

Now get off your ass and start editing! Again, welcome.--If you're 555 then I'm Number of the Beast.jpg Talk What's it like to be a heretic? 23:40, September 20, 2010 (UTC)

Grueslayer[edit source]

It's good that you want to help with Grueslayer. I plan to bring in more people when I get started. Unfortunately there's a lot of cruft and crap to sort out from the rest of the game before we start writing new material. Also, I still don't have the internet at my house; this was typed at a library and I can't really do much with the game there (netblocks, people looking over my shoulder, closes at 5 PM). I really want to get going with this game, but I can't as of now. I want to ask you to try and not do anything with the game until I get connected. I know it doesn't seem fair, but you'll have more time to refine your ideas and whatnot. When I get back, maybe then we can finish this game.

And about your signature: User:Todd_Lyons/faq#Signature

It's good of you to work on Intermediate and Hard because Easy has more pages, but this is because we were concentrating on Easy hoping to finish that first. I myself want to continue work on Hard Mode. Again, please try and not create a whole fuckload of pages and edits before I can connect my house to the Internet and actually start doing stuff. Think your plot through and revise it; play through the game and try and visualize where your ideas could fit in. You know, like REAL Infocom inplementors developed all those text adventures. Also, lots and lots of options can make a game too bloated. We should really just be mostly linear, but alternate paths that eventually lead to the same destination as well as red herrings are okay. --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) Mchammer.gif 14:10, September 22, 2010 (UTC)
