hey[edit source]

I first thought you were a vandal because you were constantly editing back and forth a talkpage, but I've realized you don't actually seem to be vandalizing things. What is what you're trying to do, then? DaniPine3 (talk) 09:43, 3 September 2024 (UTC)

I want to make an animation of Command Line. 112.200.226.227 (talk) 09:45, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
Well, you have it tough, because anonymous IPs can't upload files to Uncyclopedia; you have to register for that... Also I don't know if the admins will like the idea. That article has been like that for 10+ years, and out of a sudden you're here saying that you want to change how it looks... Admins don't like touching much their featured articles; they prefer that users would rather edot those articles that still aren't featured. DaniPine3 (talk) 09:54, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
I won't upload it to Uncyclopedia. I just want to make an animation of the current content of the article, like a recording of the commands. Now, do you like that? 112.200.226.227 (talk) 09:56, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
Hold on, so you're saying you want to make it animated through code? Well, you still have it tough, because IPs can't edit featured articles either. You still have to register first. But I think you should ask an admin beforehand wether if you're allowed to do that kind of edit, because as I told you before, they aren't keen on that kinds of drastical changes on featured articles... DaniPine3 (talk) 10:01, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
I won't even add it to Uncyclopedia at all. I'll just animate it myself, without uploading, or coding. I might put it in Codeberg as an mp4 file, but I won't upload it to Uncyclopedia. 112.200.226.227 (talk) 10:03, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
Eh... I don't get what you're trying to say. But anyways, my advice is that, before doing anything, you talk about it to an admin, because those are the ones that know better about this kind of stuff. You can see a list of active admins by clicking here (also note that the admin called Bad Motherfucker hasn't been very active as of recently, I don't know why its username is still on that list) DaniPine3 (talk) 10:11, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
I won't code it in Uncyclopedia. 112.200.226.227 (talk) 10:15, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
No, I've alteady read that. But whatever you're trying to do, I think you should talk to the admins first. If what you're saying is that you want to upload an animation on YouTube or something like thst based on the original article, then I'm pretty sure there is legal stuff you have to consider first. Not copyright, but stuff like Creative Commons and/or similar, which you'll probably have to settle with those in charge of Uncyclopedia- A.K.A. the admins. I might be wrong, and you're allowed to freely do the animation with no legal repercussions; but because I don't know much about this stuff, I think it's better you should talk it to an admin about it, who'll know more about this stuff. DaniPine3 (talk) 10:26, 3 September 2024 (UTC)

Note: Also please don't do that of having to edit a single talkpage like 12 times in a row, I thought you were a vandal trying to spam because of that. DaniPine3 (talk) 10:01, 3 September 2024 (UTC)

Another thing: please don't make subpages on talkpages? Specially when you could just make the comment on the original talkpage. I sent your new subpages to QVFD because they're unnecessary. If you want to ask something, do it on the original talkpage, which is there for a reason... DaniPine3 (talk) 10:17, 3 September 2024 (UTC)

hey (x2)[edit source]

I've seen you've been editing around here. Don't you want to log in? That way, you can have your actual username, and not have to use the "title" template to let people know who you are (tip: don't use your actual name, since that can put you in danger if a hacker ever attacked Uncyclopedia for some reason) DaniPine3 (talk) 12:01, 3 September 2024 (UTC)

Yes, it is not my actual name. It's a shortening of my pseudonym: Ennghallie Babacm8e Joushoseise. I can't log in because I'm not 18. 112.200.226.227 talk 23:38, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
Ah, didn't know you weren't 18. I don't think that's a restriction, though? I'm pretty sure other users around here are underage as well, and that didn't stop them from logging in. And I mean you're still editing around so it's not like it matters much. I mean, maybe there are some policies and I didn't know it, but I haven't seen anyone here mention them. If you want to be sure, you can always bug an admin about it; but I doubt they're going to be against it. DaniPine3 (talk) 23:46, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
Another detail: I live 1 third of an equator ahead of you. Also, please look for the talk page that redirects here, that's also mine. 112.200.226.227 (talk) 07:49, 4 September 2024 (PHT)
I don't think it's a good idea to make other IP's talkpage redirect to yours, specially considering that other people can be using that same IP. This is one of the reasons why it's better to log in: if you're only using IPs to edit, other people can edit under the same IPs, and it will be hard to differentiate you from the other people. Not to say that you can also edit under different IP's, and no one will be able to tell that all thos IPs are actually the same person (in this case, you). As I've said before, I'm pretty sure there's no policies regarding the age an user has to have to log in; but if you want to be sure, you can always ask an admin. DaniPine3 (talk) 10:28, 4 September 2024 (UTC)
Oh, well, but my internet just restarted... I've been editing in Uncyclopedia since I was 7 or 8 years old. Also, I'm still the person in that IP. I've just changed it. And again. 112.200.226.227 (talk) 13:07, 6 September 2024 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users, or by an entire institution or organization.
