Jan Mayen is a random island off the coast of Norway. Some people think it is a part of Norway, but actually it is an independent country.

Jan Mayen was founded as early as 1336. In 1512 the island was at war with Norway. They won the war 3 months later. In 1920 the mighty nation of Jan Mayen took over Norway. The Norwegians were not very happy and in 1950 they rebelled but failed. In the cold war the country was alligned with NATO (Northern Artic Treaty Organisation).

There are 7 people on the island. 2 adults and their kids.
Culture[edit | edit source]
The culture of Jan Mayen is mostly Norwegian with elements of polar bear worship. The most popluar sport is polar bear hunting
Animals[edit | edit source]
On Jan Mayen there are polar bears and some small animals which nobody knows the name of.
Geography[edit | edit source]
On Jan Mayen there is a big volcano in the middle of the island. The island is for the most part just rock and polar bears. In the sea there are fish and oil. (Don't mention this to the USA). Other then that there is not much to see
Economy[edit | edit source]
The Jan Mayen economy is mostly based on fish and polar bear meat. But some people say that most of the money comes from oil. Major exports are polar bears, which they sell to zoos or chop up and sell their meat and fur. Major Imports are everything exept fish and polar bears
Military[edit | edit source]
The military of jan mayen consists of vikings from 921. The vikings are the strongst force of all time. They are nearly invincible. There only weaknes is heat over 25 celcius or 77 freedom degrees.
