Last person to edit wins, commonly abbreviated as LPTEW, is a forum on Uncyclopedia. First created in June 2008 as a simple game, it now serves as a place of central discussion of off-topic nonsense, insane fanboying/fangirling/fantheying, and injojes repeated ad nauseam.
Why is LPTEW?[edit | edit source]
- The premise is fairly simple: the most recent editor "wins" some unspecified thing/status/bragging right. Perhaps it's that which motivates people to keep editing frequently and therefore keep the forum alive.
- It's not focused on a specific topic, so it'll never go out of date. Unlike other forums which are about current events of the time, you probably wouldn't guess that it's from 2008 unless you snoop through the archibes and logs.
- The forum has several regulars that come and go. The active nature attracts new users, who may become regulars and the cycle repeats.
Things that crawled out of the dirty depths of LPTEW[edit | edit source]
- The snowclone "Nth person to X wins", seen in Forum:First person to create the next "edit contest" topic wins!, Forum:Last person to archive Spang's talkpage wins., Forum:Last person to count to a million on their 5000th edit wins a glitch in the system, User:Cajek, and much, much, much more.

- Moe LPTEWs. Don't ask.
