The Beat a Dead Shoe contest was a vandalism (or "dandalism") competition on Uncyclopedia in which participants add the word "moccasin(s)" to OPOSSUM's userpage as many times as they can. The contest was open to anyone, including bots. It started on January 11, 2026 and ended at 0:00, January 13 UTC.

I'm sorry, guys, but I am officially DONE with moccasins. Maybe Chicken4War was right after all.

I, OPOSSUM, the guy who started the "moccasins" thing, the original Moccasin Man, am sick of 'em. Basically everone on this site (including me, of course) has spammed those poor shoes to death. So I am starting the "Beat a Dead Shoe" Moccasin Man Competition!

Rules!

1. Vandalize the fuck out of my (OPOSSUM's) userpage!
2. Whoever writes the word "moccasin" or "moccasins" the most times will become the next Moccasin Man.
3. Results will be counted at 0:00 AM, January 13, UTC.
4. I will count the full number of moccasins each user spams using CTRL+F.
5. Do not add more than 100 "moccasin"s in a single edit. If you do, you'll be disqualified.
6. Happy vandalism!
