Funnybony - if you want to read the article as a factual description of Rock and Roll, you're right. To me, it's funny that someone who hates all rock bands and their music has chosen to write an article on the subject. This is an "implied author" -joke, not to be confused with a "face value" -article. Those are Wikipedia's speciality. In short, this article satirizes two things: those who love rock and roll and those who hate it. An excellent article. Another article, totally in love with for rock and roll, would also be excellent - but it should really be a fanboy article to be funny, I think. I might consider writing it in fact.
