Chippendale Rescue Rangers[edit source]
Hi, it's me again. This is my latest creation. I kind of thought the concept would be pretty funny to associate with a cartoon many people watched while growing up... :)
I'm wondering if there's anything more I can do to make it funnier without it degenerating into too much sexual humor. I also feel it could use some expanding and additional chapters (?), but I'm not sure what and where, so any advice would be appreciated. I'll try my best. -- Hanyouman 13:11, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
| Humour: | 8 | I think this is pretty funny as it is. The concept is what really helps drive the humo(u)r. It could be fixed up by adding a bit more irony after the break-up of the group. Have Snider die by some ironic coincidence rather than fighting over vodka. Also, there needs to be some comic reference to Banjeree and Snider being left out of the cartoon (perhaps suggesting that it wasn't about their murderous ways). |
| Concept: | 9 | This is a really good idea. Even as a kid, it struck me odd the coincidence between the Rangers' name and the strip club. I like the way you approach the subject, especially with Disney having to change it to chipmunks. |
| Prose and formatting: | 10 | This part is fine. It's typed neatly, and all the sentences are...well...sentences. |
| Images: | 7 | The images are fine, but perhaps a touch-up could help. For instance, maybe you could put the Ranger garb on the members in the first pic (Chip's hat, Dale's Hawaiian shirt, etc.) and say it matches their personalities. Also, you could color the Chris Farley pic light blue and say it was the result of a practical joke gone wrong. |
| Miscellaneous: | 9 | Just one or two red links to clear. If it weren't for copyright issues, I'd say make your own audio theme for the group similar to the cartoon's theme, say the group used it in radio ads, and say that Disney based theirs off this. |
| Final Score: | 43 | I think this article is in good shape, probably better than you think. It just needs some sprucing up in certain points to add to the comedy. Hope this helps! |

Hmm, I could most likely do something about coloring the pic of the fat guy blue. I dunno about the other idea (my manipping skills are, for the most part, total suckdom), but I could ask for help on that at some point...
