I'll pee on this. I'm really sorry you had to wait so long to get a Pee Review! Don't take it personally but we have a really big backlog.

| Humour: | 5 | First it's great that you did an article! I see this is your only edit except asking for a Pee Review, which is unusual. See your talk page for your welcome that has links to a lot of good information. Please understand that I'm reviewing this by a "perfect" standard. 50 points is totally perfect. Even some feature articles score in the high 30s, and of course this is just my opinion! There are thousands of articles here that never get featured, so don't expect that on your first try! I didn't get it on mine.
Parts of your article are very funny! But your article is very short, only five mini paragraphs. You really could use more for a full article. Your joke, "Not only that, but it also gives us a reason to stay in the media cycle" is similar to one I just did in an article I wrote, so naturally I think it's funny! But really that's the first line I found funny and it's half way through. You might want to add more humor. I like "He then tried to use a brick to smash the camera but failed even to break the lens cap." It's like the brother is epic fail. "Squirrels United Against Defamation" I find a funny name, but to really get the joke you have to see the video. You might want to describe the video more, or at least your made-up version of it. You can keep with your writing style, which works very well. You might want to have something about YouTube's made-up response to the protest. Also usually gay jokes aren't very funny because they're largely the same, but you made it work, so that's very good. I think you need more jokes, which is why you got a score of 5. If you had more jokes as good as the ones you have, I'd give the article humor an 8! But the article needs more. |

| Prose and formatting: | 8 | I really like your writing! I enjoyed your style because it sounds like a real news article. I think that's the strongest part of your article. But you might want to write more. What specifically upset GLAAD beyond just using "gay" as an insult? Were they asked why they chose to protest this video instead of thousands of others that use "gay" as a put down? How offended were they? What did somebody else, like an attorney, say? This is really minor, but GLAAD is Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation so you might want to fix the name. Also you could say what WoW is. Remember not everybody who reads your article will watch the video. But keep writing like this just add more jokes. |
