An idea I'm working on for a series of articles by a fictional columist called Tarquin Middleton. Any general comments on how to improve it and which parts to edit out would be greatly appreciated. It's about half way finished and slightly too long, so any advice on which mediocre parts to get rid of would be helpful too. --Winstanley1 12:31, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

| Prose and formatting: | 6.3 | Obviously it's a work in progress, so it has its grammatical errors, typos, etc. Nothing that I imagine won't be fixed later on, right? |
| Images: | 8 | I have a bit of an idea for the image(s). You could leave the first one the way it is, take the other one, flip it (so he's leaning to the opposite direction) and align that image to the right. I think that'd be good for a laugh! |
| Miscellaneous: | 10 | Here's what I would suggest. Rather than making it all one one article on one page, you could have two pages. Sort of like a "to continue, go to the next page" sort of thing. Long pages are intimidating, so splitting it up into two medium-length pages might remedy your length problem. I'm only saying this because everything you have so far is absolutely brilliant, and I can't imagine removing any of it. |
