Symbol comment vote.svg Comment. It's really hard. I tried playing the one song marked easy and I usually end up losing by the second note. Seriously, the second note. --Pleb SYNDROME CUN medicate (butt poop!!!!) 23:58, September 3, 2009 (UTC)

It's a bug. I have fixed it now.--SunnyChow 10:55, September 6, 2009 (UTC)
I'm going to try to review this. Right now, my main issue is that the controls are bass-ackwards. --Mn-z 04:55, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
Concept: 8 There really isn't much to say here for this article. Basically, the idea is to create a Guitar Hero parody with unTunes. You're more or less married to the underlying concept due to the nature of the page.
Prose and Formatting: 4 This score is a bit harsh, but you do have some formatting issues. Fortunately, most of these can be fixed fairly easily.
  • I'm noticing some confusing instructions in places. For example this sentence almost looks like it computer translated from a foreign language:

A superfluous sound doesn't affect the multiple or the score but hit the rock meter strongly. Therefore if you target to get a high mark, strum more. If you target to just complete the game, skip the thing you can't handle.

I really don't know what your trying to say there.

  • I would suggest a separate "in depth" help page for troubleshooting and more in depth info, and a brief overview page (like you have now, if not briefer) that gives enough info to play it.
  • I've also noticed that some of the songs list the wrong person. For example, "All You Motherfuckers Are Gonna Pay" is by Hyperbole, while you list the author as Cajek. I would suggest you fix this as soon as possible to prevent any possible drama issues. Generally, you can find out the author by checking the edit history, and correct info is listed on some pages.
  • Also, you'll want to link back to the main page from the subpages to make navigation easier.
  • Finally, you might want to reformat the main page. Right now, it looks like the list of songs is an after-thought.
Images: 7.5 You don't really have that many images. I don't see anything majorly wrong with the in-game animation. You might want to add some color to File:MyUnTuneHero logo.png. And the "you roll" is a tad bit confusing. However, I would focus first of getting the difficulty down and second on the "prose and formatting" issues.
Humour: 5 This is where I'm reviewing implementation.

Ok, my main issue is that the game is too hard. Even the easy is probably somewhat too hard. Not insanely too hard, but I'd suggest making that one easier. The casual reader, or even most of the active members, aren't going to spend much time practicing on this. If its too hard, or even perceived to be too hard for casual reader, it will suffer on VFH.

Another thing, the controls for the notes are backwards. Most people aren't (or can't) hold their keyboard as a guitar. For example, the cord may be too short or they may be on a laptop computer. I would suggest inverting the default note controls, it makes the game much easier.

To make it easier, I would suggest getting rid of some notes, or slowing it down a bit. You might also want to allow for more misses, but not too many. It won't be fun if the player is missing half the notes yet still winning.

Also, after you start playing the game, it appears you can't go back to the "start" screen to change the settings. That is a little annoying.

Improvability Score: 7 Since the difficulty is playing the game is your main issue, and making it easier shouldn't take much work, it should be fairly easy to improve this.
Final Score: 31.5 Make it easier. If nobody can play it, its not fun.
