| Humour: | 7 | I’d call this a pretty damn good humour job. Far from a side-splitter, but still a good job. A consistent theme with solid humour and a tone and prose that doesn’t detract. A bit concise, perhaps-I’m sure you could lengthen the ‘reputation’ list and the origins section a little with just a bit of thinking-but what there is is clearly thought-out and well done. The combination of combining superheroes and selfishness is a little-thought-of but solid idea that carries much potential-potential I think you’ve used well. |
| Concept: | 7.5 | Great concept…really fits in with the spirit of the other Captain pages, and I’m really impressed at the original idea that stays unique and doesn’t overlap with any of the others. Captain Selfish has the potential to become something of a ‘character’ on Uncyclopedia alongside the likes of Captain Obvious-have you added some Captain Selfish quotes to some articles yet? If not, I strongly recommend you do. I know it seems a bit like whoring your article, but...that’s what it’s all about round here. |
| Prose and formatting: | 8 | No complaints here. Uh-uh. Nope, no mistakes I can find. Except maybe for the red links at the bottom, and the potential for having a sli-i-i-ightly more sophisticated prose (but hardly any article doesn’t), and a few missing commas. Nope, looks fine. This should bode well for your future endeavours. |
| Images: | 5 | Hmm...well, that third one was all right, but that ‘Crazy Fat Kid’ image is a rather old and recycled one around here. And as for the first, captioning an image with an ironic ‘this is clearly not a badly photoshopped image of…’ is ultimately just a cheap way of getting around the fact that…well, it’s a badly photoshopped image. Yep, ultimately you could step the article up a little in the image department. I’m sure you could do a few better photoshop jobs with the right amount of time. |
