UnVoyage:Cosmic Spaceport Shasta
"God-Emperor" Skell welcomes you to his ancient abode, Shasta, commonly known as the Gateway Between Worlds.
Cosmic Spaceport Shasta was constructed by Lemurians and Annunaki in the year 38471 AS. Since the hostile savages who ironically call themselves "modern man" have ravaged and erased all other major Annunaki and Lemurian spaceports eons ago, Shasta is now the sole remaining abode of the Lemurian people on their home planet, Earth.
What to expect[edit | edit source]
The climate of Shasta is fairly similar to the polar regions of Nibiru; Guovdageaidnuans will find themselves right at home here. Most buildings are built for the ideal living conditions of Lemurians, but plenty of visitor centers for Annunaki exist. Remember to insulate and carry methane tanks at all time, unless you are human.
The locals[edit | edit source]
The Lemurians, whose original home continent was destroyed in an ancient war between Earthlings long ago, form the largest ethnic group in Shasta. The majority of Lemurians are a friendly yet cautious people, although to this day, many are paranoid about interplanetary war.
The Lemurians of Shasta worship their God-Emperor, Skell, a powerful half-Annunaki king. As everyone on Nibiru knows, Skell is not actually a real god, but don't tell the locals that.
In the poorer areas of Cosmic Spaceport Shasta resides a large ethnically Hyperborean population. Once slaves of the Annunaki and Lemurians and to this day considered an inferior race by many older Lemurians, several protests and Hyperborean insurrections have led to them being replaced by the Sasquatches, who have yet to revolt.
Hazards[edit | edit source]
While Cosmic Spaceport Shasta has a reputation for being a center of intergalactic crime, the vast majority of robberies are carried out on merchants and wealthy locals; visitors are basically safe. The real dangers lie on the surface of planet Earth.
Sasquatches and "modern man"[edit | edit source]
Avoid the surface of the mountain at all costs, since dangerous creatures known as Sasquatches patrol the mountain. Originally created by the Lemurians to guard the mountain from "modern man", Sasquatches are now commonly employed to load starships and keep the wormholes open.
"Modern man" seems to be only partially aware of Sasquatch, Nibiru and Cosmic Spaceport Shasta. A highly xenophobic race, they are fairly likely to shoot anyone on sight who comes close to them. Although they are known to be the same species as Lemurians and Hyperboreans, "modern men" are easily identifiable due to their pitiful lack of cybernetic enhancements, their horrifyingly primitive and apelike physique, and most importantly, their rather animalistic attitude.
The majority of "modern man" sightings are situated near the pathways carved into the mountain above Shasta, almost zero venture into the city itself. Their largest local colony sits just to the west of the mountain, but any attempt to raid the colony would likely prove disastrous for the Annunaki race (but even more so, for the "modern men".)
What to do if you encounter a "modern man"[edit | edit source]
- Be prepared. While "modern men" are very afraid of all things from Nibiru, they are especially horrified by Annunaki weapons, even non-lethal weapons. Temporary paralyzing beams (TPBs) are supplied to visitors at the wormholes.
- Don't panic. DO. NOT. PANIC. This is mostly because your fear and screaming may be mistaken as aggressive behavior by "modern men".
- Keep pets away from them. Octostars, mawsnails and ȃ̷̜̞̺͎̹̘͎̙̯̰̣̰̥̳̓̒̑̋ḏ̴̛͓̗̫͙̉́̏̉̉̃̿̽̉͊̚͝i̶̲͍͙̪̱͙̳͉͎͎̫̱̖̖̊̈́̈́̚ͅä̴̢̡̛̟̤͙͇͇̼̝ͅċ̶̛͍̣̾̽́̊̑́͊͒̽̏h̷̨̛͚͉̮͍̲͖̳̿̿͐̒̔̒̀̇̕͜͜o̶̮̹̮̺̳͈̬̘͔̣̜̺͙̳̱͚̓́̀͝ͅŗ̷̧̛̮̣͉͖̯̠̽͆̎̂͛̃̄̾͂̈́̋͋̂͐̑̆į̶̩̘̙̞̜́̇̓̑̈̍̇͑̊̐̆̂̉̓͘͝ş̸̧̠̘̥̠͕͍͉͍͕̠̪̐̀̂̊̈́́̏̕͠t̸̢̘̦̠̫̖̮̮͚̦͙̾̀̋͊͐͘͘̚͜ͅͅĮ̷̧̡̨̥͔̱̲̺̲̘͎̎͋̐̽̋̿̏́̍͘͜͝ are incomprehensible to untrained human eyes, and the mere sight of them can drive them to madness, thus making them more likely to attack. Nibiruan creatures are also known to be eaten by Earth fauna, including "modern men". If you dare to take Fido to the surface, make sure he stays on his leash.
What to eat at Shasta[edit | edit source]
All the best restaurants in Shasta serve their sustenance still alive, a tradition of the ancient Hwan Empire, which had profound influence on Lemurian culture.
The cautious visitor may even want to try traditional "modern man" delicacies such as "beef", the flesh of yet lowlier creatures known as "cows".
