Yikes! Why is there terms like Negro and Kenyan in this article? The only reason I can think to bring this to the fore is because it takes a specific issue about presidential powers and laces it with a hateful racial undertones. – Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.162.85.77 (talk • contribs)
- I love the word "Negro"--It is such an anachronism that it paints the "reporter" or "encyclopedia article writer" as seriously out-of-touch, if the author thinks the writer needs a cue. The problem with this article, on the other hand, is that humor is salted with too much truth: (1) MSNBC anchors argue daily that criticism of Obama is racism; (2) Republicans obviously are seizing on Holder's refusal to cooperate as a more fertile field than the tax increases the US is racing toward; (3) There are serious indications that the administration had something other than law enforcement in mind with "Fast and Furious." This article is not much different from something Limbaugh and his impressionist Shanklin might have come up with in all seriousness. "Kenyan" seems like mere randomness inserted to try to make the humor more light-hearted. For me, though, it doesn't succeed at that. Spıke ¬ 19:32 22-Jun-12
Not that funny, kind of hateful[edit source]
What about the final sentence. Indeed, Fast and Furious could lead to the tar-and-feathering of at least one and a half guilty niggers.
That seems pretty hateful. Also, Spike brings up a good point. This whole article barely seems to pass as satire. – Preceding unsigned comment added by Unqtious (talk • contribs)
