Rats! don't know what gave it away, except maybe the dateline, the segue into politics, and my recurring theme of evil-party-versus-stupid-party (whose name no one knows). That old theme, plus the more date-specific themes of inebriation and incoherence, are a vehicle for the photograph, a month-old photo of a traffic accident from the Manchester paper, which I had been saving on the top of my user page in preparation for today.
