highly sardonic unnews article i created a few days ago. Received no piss whatsoever and didn't appear as a news article. I'm afraid it might just suck and I want to know whhhhhhy!!!--AmericanBastard 03:07, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the pointers, I've already read the "Howto be stupid and not funny" several times and I guess it's working. I've also read a bunch of unnews in the past and the majority of them do not deviate from a single plot-line or satirical concept. You are certainly right, I did stretch a one liner but why should we incorporate a plethora of jokes into a tiny news article? - Heh, apparently it's fine, cause I reviewed her, didn't I? Also, I was reviewing in the context of how well it fit Uncyclopedia as a whole, and while UnNews is generally one joke stuff, Uncyclopedia as a whole strives for a bit more. That's why I took that into account.--<<

| Images: | 5 | The image, while not spectacular and not funny, didn't take anything away from the joke, so it's passable. |
| Miscellaneous: | 3 | Nothing really stood out from this article as being particularly good. While it's not horrible either, it's a one-joke pony and doesn't try to surprise you with any twists or turns. It's an article about the entirety of America being in the place of Saddam Hussein and doesn't try to be anything else, which unfortunately isn't pulled off as well it would have to be to carry the entire article. |
| Final Score: | 21 | Overall, I didn't find this article terribly funny nor terribly clever. The entire joke was in the title, so it felt as if a one-liner was being stretched to fill an entire page. It wasn't horrid either, however, so I would suggest that the author look for more ideas for jokes to put in the article. Check HTBFANJS for ideas in this regard. |
