Too bad you can't customize this in the original.

Tomodachi Life fans have waited a long time coming. After 12 or 13 years, the new Tomodachi Life game, Twomodachi Life will release on April 16, 2026. The game features even more customization than in the original, such as same-sex relations (unsurprisingly enough), non-binaries, making your own island like in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and basically having Mii customization in the same vein as Miitopia. Mii houses can merge themselves if a Mii and another Mii agree to move themselves in. You can also give "pets" to your Miis, even if it doesn't look like a pet that you can buy in real life.

However, there are some caveats. Nintendo decided you can't have too much fun, so you aren't allowed to draw penises on your Mii's faces. Neither are you allowed to make the Miis naked as well. This is done to avoid being sued by the game ratings organizations around the world. If you do this, they will permanently ban your Switch from playing the game.

Guess Nintendo promised the fans what they got, huh?
